Splitz & Sequins is an independent Dance school based in North Wales. 

Established in 2008 by Sara Yelesen, a fully qualified dance teacher with the world recognised dance association, the IDTA (The International Dance Teachers Association).

Sara began to dance at the age of 4, when she became a pupil of the North Wales School of Dancing.  She soon started to enter competitions and festivals, winning many across the country.  Sara also passed over 50 examinations and medal tests in various dance styles, including Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, National, Ballroom, Latin and Disco Freestyle.

At the age of 16, Sara was offered a place at the Merseyside Dance & Drama Centre, where she studied a 3 year Performing Arts course and gained an ISTD Associate National teaching qualification.  In March 2008 Sara also qualified as an Associate Disco/Freestyle teacher.

Splitz & Sequins have classes based at Abergele, Rhuddlan, Dyserth and Rhyl, and mainly cover the more modern popular dance styles such as Street, Hip Hop, Disco/ Freestyle, Modern Theatre and Commercial Pop.  The academy now has over 100 pupils and is rapidly expanding its classes.  

Sara has a huge wealth of experience in teaching, choreography, and productions.  Catering for all ages and abilities, she offers a huge range of performing arts activities, such as IDTA Examinations and Medal Tests, Annual Shows and Pantomimes, Festivals and Competitions, Specialized Workshops and Private Tuition.
